A visit from Ricardo

December 9, 2015 By Helena Artmann

Screen Shot 2015-12-09 at 8.48.58 AMRecently, I had the opportunity to implement a website for a client, Petra Grandits, and what a surprise when I heard what she did for a living! Petra is a psychic/medium healer and I instantly wanted to book an appointment with her. I told her about my story and I ended up booking a 45 min session with her and my son – it was the first time she had a kid in her medium session. What a privilege to be there with him!

Not sure how much he understood from the whole process, but I do believe this is a process of love and energy and it doesn’t really matter. What does matter is that we were there healing and keep on grieving our loss. Or losses, because we did have Ricardo’s visit but he was not the only one. His dad, who passed away recently, came to say a few words, but the biggest gift I got was from Bernardo, my dear friend who passed away in a climbing accident, almost five years ago.

His vibrant character was all in there and Petra’s face changed when she talked about him. It made me very happy. I do believe we are all energy and this energy will never die – it just transforms into something else. And the reason of it all is love. Petra told me about Ricardo and how he felt my genuine and profound love for him and how I did all I had to do with abandonment and the purest love I ever felt was a confirmation of something I already knew but was not sure he felt it that way. It was beautiful.

Life is not always easy. I am happy to report that, as the days, weeks and months are passing, a calm and tranquil life unfolds from the chaos. Love is a constant and peace and happiness fill our home.

In August 2010, my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He passed away on Jan 05, 2013, at home.

This blog is the result of what I learned during these difficult times and how I am grieving through my son.
